I am proud to announce that my second review for the Appstorm network has been published. For three days, I tested the mobile app Billings Touch in and out with all possible scenarios (and impossible) and thanks to the generous folks at Marketcircle — here’s a shout to Ryan Cash! — I was able to even test drive the features of the paid version of Billings Touch.
For those of you who don’t know: Billings allows you to track time and expenses for projects and even create and send out invoices to your clients. The UI is amazingly clean and simple so that even I, who doesn’t have a very intimate relationship with numbers, only needed a short time to get familiar with the app. Even though there are still some things that can be improved, Billings Touch is a very solid application and I am looking forward to use it on a regular basis. If you are like me, you have been waiting for quite a while now for the iPhone version of the GDT manager The Hit List. Even though a screenshot of the iPhone app has surfaced on Flickr in late December, I decided to find another way of taking my tasks with me on the iPhone until the mobile version is released. With 2Do, a beautiful task management app from GuidedWays, and iCal that is now possible.
Not everyone has access to file servers or the ability to maintain one. This can be a huge challenge if you need to share files with co-workers or customers on a regular basis and can’t necessarily send them via email.
